Woman accused of stealing more than $268K in jewels while working as a housekeeper in West Miami

A family had trusted Arays Izquierdo so much that they gave her a key to their home in West Miami, and she betrayed them by stealing more than $268,000 in jewels, according to police.

A Van Cleef & Arpels necklace, two Louis Vuitton bracelets worth nearly $150,000, and a gold bracelet for $95,650 were among the items stolen by Izquierdo while working as the family’s maid, according to a police arrest report.
