HIALEAH, Fla. — A substitute teacher was arrested Tuesday after she brought a loaded gun to Westland Senior High School in Hialeah, authorities said.
According to an arrest report from the Miami-Dade Schools Police Department, a teacher found an unattended bookbag in the auditorium of the school, located at 4000 W. 18th Ave., and searched it, trying to locate an ID. Instead, the teacher found a loaded 9 mm Walther handgun, the report stated.
