Miami Spice Restaurant Months is officially getting an extra month. The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau has extended the 25th edition of the dining program through October 31 after a record 405 restaurants participated during August and September.
This is not the first time Miami Spice has stretched into a third month — but it has been almost a decade since it did so. The program also ran through Halloween in 2017 to help local restaurants recover business lost when Hurricane Irma forced closures across South Florida.
However, this year’s extension is thankfully tied to the program’s anniversary and record participation rather than a hurricane.
Another month of deals
