Milwaukee nonprofit Food for Health provides free pre-made meals during first of 3 summer events

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Milwaukee nonprofit Food for Health held a “Nutrition in the Neighborhood” event Tuesday, in an effort to bring healthy food to areas of the city described as food deserts.

Hundreds of people were able to come out to Davidson Park and take home pre-made meals.

Organizers say with the closures of several grocery stores in the city, some neighborhoods are in a nutritional crisis…
