A routine workday turned tragic late Thursday morning near N. 61st Street and W. Kaul Avenue, where a 55-year-old worker was killed after a large tree limb came crashing down in the neighborhood.
Milwaukee police said they were called to the scene around 11 a.m. for what they classified as a workplace injury. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released his name.
