FOND DU LAC COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say one Milwaukee man was federally indicted after large amounts of illegal drugs were seized during a traffic stop in Fond du Lac County last May.
According to a release from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, May 29 around 11:45 p.m., a K9 Handler Deputy and his dog, Rip, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that was speeding and deviating from its lane on I-41 near Lost Arrow Road.
Probable cause was obtained and a search of the vehicle was performed. The deputy located 7.2 grams of cocaine, 750 grams (1.6 pounds) of methamphetamine, a separate 19.06 grams of methamphetamine, 53 grams of MDMA, and $940.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as a 46-year-old man from Milwaukee, was reported to be on active parole for manufacturing or delivering heroin (<3g) from a 2016 case in Milwaukee.
The man has a criminal history going back to 1993 for offenses including:
- First degree sexual assault
- Burglary
- Possession with intent, cocaine
- Possession of THC
- Bail jumping
- Forgery
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Resisting or obstructing
- Making false or forged prescriptions
- Obtaining prescription drugs without a valid prescription
- Possession of Schedule I and II narcotics
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Manufacturing or delivering heroin
