Tracking another round of strong storms tonight

It’s a nice and quiet start to our Thursday as high pressure from yesterday holds off to our east, and most of today is quiet and dry with sun.

Low pressure is developing up to the northwest, and out ahead of it, a warm front is lifting. This front will usher in a breezy south wind for this afternoon and as that happens, we will warm up! High temperatures are expected to get into the mid-70s and even closer to the low-80s farther inland. This southerly wind will also allow for warmer dew point temperatures, and as we those get back into the 60s on top of sunshine and warm air, it becomes the right recipe for severe weather…
