MILWAUKEE — A major weekend closure is planned on the south side of the Mitchell Interchange, beginning Friday night and lasting into early Monday morning, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
State DOT spokesman Eric Hanson says the closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday, May 1 and is scheduled to last until 3 a.m. Monday, May 4. He says the work involves the I-41/I-94 southbound collector-distributor road on the south side of the interchange, between Layton Avenue and College Avenue.
“The Mitchell Interchange project has another weekend closure coming up. That’s going to start Friday, May 1st at 9 p.m. and run through Monday, May 4th at 3 a.m.,” Hanson says…
