OSHKOSH (WLUK) — Two people from Milwaukee were arrested for allegedly sneaking drugs into the Oshkosh Correctional Institution.
The case began when investigators from the Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit received information about contraband being smuggled into OCI. Prison officials and the VNU team launched a joint investigation.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. Monday, law enforcement made contact with a 24-year-old Milwaukee woman inside OCI who was trying to visit an inmate. Two small balloons were found concealed on her person.
