WATCH: Police in Wisconsin arrest fleeing strong-arm robbery suspect

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Wisconsin say a fleeing strong-arm robbery suspect is now in custody, thanks to the various technology devices available to assist police in doing their job.

According to a release from the Wauwatosa Police Department, officers recently responded to an alert from a Flock Safety camera for a vehicle that was wanted out of Glendale in connection with a strong-armed robbery.

A posted video then shows officers finding the vehicle near West Burleigh Street and North Mayfair Road before pursuing it into a nearby parking lot, where the suspect exited the vehicle and began fleeing on foot on the grounds of the Bluemound Country Club.

The police department’s Drone Unit was then quickly deployed and found the suspect’s location, guiding a motor officer to navigate the country club grounds safely and efficiently, eventually catching up to the suspect and bringing them under arrest…
