Records: Hundreds of police calls per year to Milwaukee Intermodal Station

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Intermodal Station sees more than 1.3 million passengers per year, according to the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

It offers direct access to the City of Milwaukee, with travelers using the facility to make connections to Amtrak’s Hiawatha Services and Empire Builder, as well as Greyhound and other local and regional bus services.

In recent weeks, the travel hub has come under scrutiny. A criminal complaint states that on April 9, a 31-year-old man climbed into a bathroom stall and sexually assaulted a female traveler. Cephus Tyre Johnson has been criminally charged.
