One person died in a crash between two semi-trucks on Highway I-43 on early Thursday morning near Big Bend at around 6 a.m., the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
According to a preliminary investigation, one semi-truck rear-ended the other. One of the operators was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The operator of the semi-truck that was hit was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
