Fort Snelling ceremony honors MN soldiers’ ultimate sacrifice

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar honored fallen service members at Fort Snelling National Cemetery’s annual Memorial Day ceremony.

Klobuchar placed flowers at the grave of her father, Jim Klobuchar, who served during the Korean War. He was stationed in Germany and assigned to write anti-communist material in support of U.S. efforts during the Cold War.
