Popular winery and restaurant eyes Minnetonka’s Ridgedale Center

A popular restaurant and winery chain is looking to make its Minnesota debut in Minnetonka.

During a June 8 meeting, Cooper’s Hawk presented a conceptual plan to the Minnetonka City Council, seeking to obtain a liquor license for on-site sales, as well as an off-sale wine shop at Ridgedale Center.

A Cooper’s Hawk representative added that the company is looking to open a restaurant in Woodbury as well, but didn’t disclose any details on a potential location.

First opened in 2005, Cooper’s Hawk boasts 76 locations across 14 states, including Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Its restaurants feature Napa-style tasting rooms and speciality markets, as well as winery-inspired private party spaces…
