Deep dish pizza is hitting the menu at the Mall of America this month.
Giordano’s will open a new outpost, its second in Minnesota, at the Bloomington megamall on July 16.
The Chicago pizza chain, founded in 1974, previously had two locations in the state, but its Uptown storefront closed in 2020, five years after opening. In 2016, it launched a second location in Richfield, which remains open.
The Mall of America restaurant will serve the deep dish pizza it’s known for, as well as tavern-style and thin crust pizzas, appetizers, salads, and sandwiches…
