A local pastry chef who helmed the now-closed Edwards Dessert Kitchen is opening her own sweets-focused bakery in south Minneapolis.
Jasmine Weiser Kaysen recently revealed that she’s found a home for ClĂ©mentine, a patisserie named after her daughter, in the Tangletown neighborhood. She’s hoping for an October opening, though she admits there’s still a lot of work ahead as construction begins.
“Almost a year to the day that Edwards Dessert Kitchen closed, I picked up the keys to my very own brick-and-mortar,” Weiser Kaysen wrote in a July 1 social media post. “I am so grateful for everyone who has helped me over the past year as I navigated becoming a business owner.”…
