- The Minneapolis Aquatennial, celebrating its 87th year, will feature over three dozen events including the Summer Snowball Classic and the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade.
“The Best Days of Summer” are back, as the Minneapolis Aquatennial returns for its 87th year after welcoming new leadership earlier this year.
This year’s celebration includes more than three dozen events over nine days. Several new events are planned, including the Summer Snowball Classic on July 21 at Commons Park outside U.S. Bank Stadium, where more than 1,000 real snowballs will be tossed around.
