A bat found living inside a Golden Valley home has tested positive for rabies, raising alarm bells for public health officials.
According to Skedaddle Humane Wildlife Control, a homeowner recently discovered a bat flying around their living room and called the company for help removing it.
Inspectors later found an entire colony of bats living inside the home’s attic. The animals were able to get inside the home through a gap in the fireplace.
