Historic 1956 church forced to shut doors for good – but makes final heartwarming decision to help 300k

A HISTORIC church has made a heartwarming final decision to help hundreds of thousands of people as it closed its doors for good.

The church, which has been open since 1956, had plenty of money to continue operations, but shut down in 2024 over declining membership.

The St. Mark’s United Church of Christ in Bloomington, Minnesota decided to make a donation to help around 300,000 people across the state after closing.

The church, located about 10 miles outside of Minneapolis, decided to close because it only had 26 members, CBS affiliate WCCO reported…
