An amended criminal complaint filed Aug. 17 adds a felony forgery charge against Christian Liam Schenk, 47, an Eden Prairie man already accused of taking more than $75,000 from Crooked Beverage Company, which he co-founded. The new count brings the case to three felony counts.
Crooked Beverage was based in Eden Prairie when the alleged theft occurred, according to the complaint. The company remains operational but is no longer in Eden Prairie.
According to the complaint, Bench Telematics had received a court order requiring distributions otherwise owed to Schenk to be paid to his ex-wife.
