MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – A man who claimed to serve 1.6 million meals to children in Wilmar was sentenced to five years in prison for his role in the Feeding Our Future scheme.
Abdikadir Ainanshe Mohamud was also sentenced to two years of supervised release after he was first indicted for wire fraud, federal programs bribery and money laundering back in September 2022.
The court also ordered him to pay more than $3 million in restitution.
