MINNESOTA (Valley News Live) — The Minnesota Department of Health is trying to reach customers of ASAP Wildlife Services MN who had a bat or other mammal submitted for rabies testing through the business over the past year.
MDH said the business, which operates in the Twin Cities metro area, appears to have not consistently followed through on submitting animals for testing. In at least one case, a customer was told their animal tested negative — but the results reportedly came from a lab that doesn’t even perform rabies testing, according to the department.
Anyone who used ASAP Wildlife Services MN between Sept. 1, 2025, and today for a bat or wild mammal rabies submission is asked to call MDH at 651-201-5368. Specialists there will check whether testing actually happened and advise on whether rabies prevention shots are needed…
