Justin Jefferson Helped Off Field By 2 Staff Members

The Minnesota Vikings have been one of the biggest surprises of Week 2 as they lead the San Francisco 49ers 20-7 at the start of the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, the Vikings’ surprising performance hasn’t been completely positive as disaster struck late in the game.

Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson had to be helped off by two trainers after suffering an apparent leg injury during the third quarter. The injury occurred when Minnesota center Garrett Bradbury accidentally fell on the 25-year-old playmaker’s knee.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero later announced that the former 2020 first rounder was questionable to return.

Jefferson is the focal point of the Vikings’ offense and one of the main reasons why they took a shocking two-possession lead over the 49ers. The former LSU wide receiver recorded four catches into 135 receiving yards before suffering his injury and scored on a 97-yard score in the second quarter.
