Severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail predicted to hit Twin Cities on Monday

The Twin Cities might be in for its first bout of severe spring weather Monday.

After an unusually warm Sunday, April 12, the National Weather Service predicts thunderstorms will hit the metro area the following day. Tornadoes, large hail, and 60-mile-per-hour winds are predicted across southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin into the evening hours Monday, with stormy weather predicted to start as early as 4 p.m.
