MINNEAPOLIS — A Ramsey County judge issued a bench warrant for the 22-year-old man accused of posing as a high school student after he failed to appear at his first court hearing on Thursday.
Kelvin Luebke was charged with three felony counts of forgery earlier this month after prosecutors said he fraudulently enrolled as an 18-year-old student at White Bear Lake High School.
According to authorities, Luebke attended classes for just 19 days before he was pulled over by police for speeding and subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants. Following his arrest, police said someone recognized his mugshot and identified him as a student at the high school who went by a different name.
