MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota State trooper will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct, stemming from a 2025 incident involving a fellow trooper.
According to the criminal complaint, Jacob Christopherson, 31, was charged with fifth-degree criminal sexual conduct after a colleague reported he had touched her inappropriately several times during a work training at Camp Ripley last summer.
Court documents said about 20 people participating in the annual training went out for dinner together on the evening of Aug. 6 before a handful of them continued to the Viking Bar, located on the grounds of Camp Ripley.
