An Army veteran died in Minneapolis after he chased two suspects who were trying to steal his pickup truck. 38-year-old Amos Ferrier went after the suspects after noticing them around 1:30 p.m. on Friday. The suspects were in his truck and took his bag, so he ran after them.
After they saw Ferrier charge toward them for confrontation, they went inside their car. This is when Ferrier tried to stop them by clinging to the hood. However, they kept driving around, causing him to strike his head on the pavement after being thrown off the hood.
The police found Ferrier unconscious and took him to the Hennepin County Medical Center. Despite an emergency brain surgery, his life could not be saved. He was placed on life support, but he never woke up. The family decided to pull the plug on Sunday, and the father of two passed away…
