FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – Foley is moving forward with plans to build a fourth fire station as growth continues in south Baldwin County.
The city council is advancing the design process for the new station, which will be built on vacant land on East Fern Avenue. The Delaney family donated the land to the city.
The site will be shared with Riviera Utilities in a partnership arrangement, according to Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich.
“That actual site is a partnership with us, Riviera in regard to what goes there,” Hellmich said. “Part of the site will be a fire station. The other half of the site will be a Riviera Utilities site.”…
