‘Excuse after excuse’: More families come forward after arrest of former Baldwin County funeral director

FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – More families are coming forward after the arrest of a former funeral director accused of financial exploitation of the elderly in Baldwin County.

Tim Street was arrested Friday and is accused of taking thousands of dollars from families for services they never received, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. Street worked at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley for nearly a decade, the Alabama Board of Funeral Service said.

Since Street’s arrest, more than 10 additional people have come forward, pushing the number of alleged victims into the dozens, the sheriff’s office said.
