DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – A 17-year-old boy faces murder and attempted murder charges after investigators with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office say he stabbed both of his parents Sunday night, killing his mother and critically injuring his father.
Victim identified, father in critical condition
Investigators identified the teen’s mother as 37-year-old Samantha Baker, who died at the scene outside the family’s home on Augustine Drive. Her husband, 46-year-old Lance Baker, suffered multiple stab wounds. Deputies found him outside a neighboring home, and he was flown to a hospital. As of Monday, he remained in critical condition.
