SARALAND, Ala. (WKRG) — A Spanish Fort Middle School teacher has been identified as the man killed in a Saraland crash that happened on June 30.

Eighth-grade history teacher Devery Jenkins was killed during a four-vehicle crash involving two 18-wheelers on Highway 158 between Kali Oka Road and Shelton Beach Road.
According to school administrators, Jenkins was “a steady presence, a compassionate heart, and a source of encouragement” for everyone who knew him.
