BAYOU LA BATRE, Ala. (WALA) – The Bayou La Batre Fire Department responded to a vessel fire Tuesday morning, and an investigation is now underway.
Viewer video captured crews battling the blaze just off Shell Belt Road shortly after 4 a.m. The vessel was empty at the time of the fire.
A witness who filmed the fire said he called 911 immediately and honked his horn to check whether anyone was inside before crews arrived. Thankfully, it was empty…
