BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) – Some surprise guests have been buzzing around Baldwin County’s beaches lately; swarms of honeybees have been spotted in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores this month.
Cheer coach arrested in Gulf Shores on sexual abuse charges
Earlier this week, honeybees swarmed a beach umbrella in Gulf Shores. Experts said it was European honeybees.
“I’ve never seen anything like that. Especially here on the beach,” Cole Hayward, an employee with Suncoast Beach Service said. “It went from a few of them to like hundreds, maybe thousands of them.”
