A dream of opening a new business in the city of Prichard is being slowed down by a series of setbacks for Unice Woodard. Renovations at her future nightclub were supposed to be a step toward bringing new life to a property off Wilson Avenue, but it’s been nothing but one headache after another.
“This is my dream, this is what I want to do. I’m grew up in Prichard. I’m from Prichard, and I want to keep businesses growing in Prichard,” Woodard said.
Before Woodard could even get started, she says she fell victim to an incomplete plumbing job, and thousands of dollars later, she’s now paying someone else to finish the work…
