DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – Friends and family gathered Sunday night at Eastern Shore Baptist Church for a candlelight vigil honoring Samantha Baker, who deputies say was killed in a stabbing outside her home on Augustine Drive two weeks ago.
Many attendees dressed in blue. Candles burned and music played as those in attendance shared memories of Baker.
Husband speaks at vigil
Investigators say Samantha’s husband, Lance Baker, was also stabbed multiple times in the attack.
Lance has since been released from the hospital and attended the vigil Sunday night. He thanked his church family and those who supported him during his recovery…
