MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two emergency vehicles were damaged Thursday while working a crash after someone ran into them, according to Theodore-Dawes Fire Rescue.

According to a Theodore-Dawes Fire Rescue Facebook post, Theodore-Dawes Fire Rescue Engine 4 and a Mobile County EMS ambulance were hit while working a crash on I-10 when someone driving by “failed to recognize the emergency vehicles.”
Fortunately, no firefighters or paramedics were injured, and the patient they were treating was not injured further. The driver of the car that hit the firetruck was taken to the hospital for treatment.
