Dense fog advisory active for South Alabama until Tuesday morning – visibility limited to 1/4 mile

On Tuesday at 2:14 a.m. a dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 9 a.m. for Choctaw, Washington, Clarke, Wilcox, Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Crenshaw, Escambia, Covington, Mobile and Baldwin counties.

The weather service informs, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”

“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” adds the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.”
