In celebration of Earth Day, local electric vehicle enthusiasts, in partnership with Drive Electric Alabama, will host interactive showcases at four events over the next two weekends, with stops in north Alabama, metro Birmingham and metro Mobile. Attendees can get an up-close look at a wide range of electric vehicles—from full-size pickup trucks and family-friendly SUVs to sedans and high-performance sports cars.
Drive Electric Alabama said the events offer an opportunity for direct conversations with EV owners, who will share firsthand experiences, answer questions and help curious drivers explore what it is really like to switch to electric vehicles.
“EV adoption is growing rapidly across Alabama, but many people still have questions,” Michael Staley, president of the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition and an EV owner, said. “With so many new models entering the market, it can be overwhelming. These events give people a chance to connect directly with EV owners and get honest, real-world insights.”…
