FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Foley officials have announced plans to add turn lanes on South Juniper Street in an effort to improve traffic flow.

According to a Foley news release, the turn lanes will be located at Beignet Drive, a “busy route near Iberville Square.”
The city is currently taking bids for the project, which was approved during the April 6 Foley City Council meeting.
“This is for a left-turn lane onto Beignet Drive on Juniper Street,” City Engineer Taylor Davis said. “This has been in our capital plan for a couple years now. Obviously, with the amount of traffic on Juniper Street, this would be a project that would be warranted.”…
