FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – Baldwin County farmers are feeling the effects of an ongoing drought after Sunday’s rain fell far short of what they needed. Most farmers saw less than a tenth of an inch.
A passing cold front Sunday morning brought cooler temperatures but little rain. Those who saw anything more than a few tenths count themselves lucky. Baldwin County farmers are still needing relief.
In Summerdale, row cropper Tim Mullek reported getting 0.05 inches at best. It was barely enough to register and did nothing to help the dry conditions.
