FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — A bestselling author is set to make a visit to a bookstore in Fairhope to promote his new collection.

According to a news release, David Sedaris is set to visit Page and Palette on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. to discuss “The Land and Its People.”
Sedaris, who is also a regular contributor to The New Yorker and BBC Radio 4, is known for his other works, including “Calypso,” “Theft By Finding,” “Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls,” “Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk,” and “When You Are Engulfed in Flame.”
Tickets start at $30 and will include an autograph from Sedaris. The first 100 people to buy tickets will be able to sit in the Book Cellar to hear him speak.
