MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A federal judge handed down a four-year prison sentence to a man who admitted to supplying cocaine to a multimillion-dollar drug distribution network in Mobile.
Jonathan Hackworth pleaded guilty in July to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine as part of an organization that came to light in 2024, when law enforcement officers found a 3-year-old boy wearing a backpack full of drugs.
Hackworth admitted that he sold cocaine to convicted drug kingpin Glennie Antonio “Little Man” McGee from 2017 to 2024. Agents in June 2024 seized five kilograms of cocaine and $23,000 in cash.
