RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Five inmates were hospitalized after an incident at a Mississippi prison, according to officials.

According to a spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), the incident occurred at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility (CMCF) in Rankin County on April 20, 2026, and involved multiple inmates.
