Mobile trailer fire: Two dogs escape unharmed

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two dogs are safe after escaping a fire that heavily damaged a trailer in Mobile.

Crews with the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department were called to the fire on McKinley Avenue around 3 a.m. on Friday, April 24.

Heavy smoke and flames were seen coming from the trailer when firefighters arrived.

Officials say two dogs were in the trailer at the time of the fire but made it out safely.

Crews were able to get the fire under control within an hour, but it’s unclear what may have caused it.
