Along roadsides across Alabama, I have found a ton of spots where motorists can fill up their tanks while filling up their bellies. But I have also discovered that there is gas station food, and there is gas station food.
Most of it runs in a general pattern of fried Southern favorites and a rotating bevy of daily specials. Breakfast means biscuits filled with chicken or sausage and accompanied with some sort of egg dish.
