MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Mobile man accused of firing shots and leading officers on a high-speed chase that reached 120 miles an hour appeared before a judge today.
Corey Bailey-Walker is charged with discharging a gun, reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, and tampering with physical evidence. His total bond is $19,000 with a $300 cash component for one of the charges.
Mobile Police say officers were responding to a burglary call near Dauphin Island Parkway and Boykin when they saw Bailey-Walker fire a gun and take off. Police say he later threw the gun out of the window during the chase.
