City of Mobile, Via to host informational sessions on proposed transit changes

MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — The City of Mobile, in partnership with Via, will host a series of public information sessions this month to share details about proposed updates to the city’s public transit network.

These sessions are part of Mobile’s continued effort to make public transit more accessible, reliable and responsive to the needs of Mobilians. The proposed changes are expected to take effect in July and represent the next step in the evolution of the city’s newly rebranded Second Line Transit system.

City of Mobile residents and transit system riders are invited to stop by at any time during three public informational meetings to learn more about the proposed network, review potential route updates, ask questions, and share feedback and insight with City of Mobile staff members and Via’s team…
