MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An internet disruption caused headaches Monday for Mobile County’s court system.
Folks with business in front of Mobile County District Judge Zackery Moore arrived to find a sign on the door indicating that “technical issues” had forced his docket to be rescheduled until Wednesday. He was able to conduct bond hearings in person at Mobile County Metro Jail.
Mobile County Presiding Circuit Judge Wesley Pipes told FOX10 News that an AT&T fiber-optic cable was cut Friday in downtown Mobile. That affected Mobile Government Plaza’s secure connection to the Administrative Office of Courts in Montgomery.
