DAPHNE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Construction is underway on a new roundabout in Daphne, part of a larger project aimed at easing traffic congestion. For the next three months, County Road 13 at Milton Jones Rd. will be closed as crews build the roundabout and extend Milton Jones Rd. The project will ultimately connect Highway 181 to Pollard Rd., creating a new east-west corridor designed to reduce traffic on heavily traveled County Rd. 64.
“We understand that it is a hassle, but this is going to be better infrastructure,” said Daphne Mayor Robin LeJeune.
