Personal details and classic Southern elements were sprinkled across Ashley and Geoffery’s wedding in Mobile. The couple met in Dallas and went back to the bride’s hometown for their special day. Guests gathered in black tie for the ceremony at Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, the church where the bride’s parents were married and she was baptized. The reception followed at The Country Club of Mobile, just down the road from the home of the parents of the bride. All were greeted by champagne and sat down to a seated dinner, with lush greenery, white blooms, chandeliers and candles creating an elegant and intimate atmosphere. Hydrangeas, the bride’s favorite flower, were featured throughout, adding a soft, classic touch to the overall aesthetic.
Afterward, guests proceeded to the green- and-white checkered dance floor to enjoy music and dancing. As night set in, string lights and soft lamps lit up the venue and fun local favorites, bushwackers and honey butter chicken biscuits were served for everyone to enjoy. The couple then made their exit through white shakers, ending a special day spent with family and friends, celebrating the beginning of their life together.
